The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Eskilstuna today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Regina Vox took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Kvarngärdets Goblin, Ghostly News, Ferocious Map, Regina Vox, Kvarngärdets Java, Disco A.e., Monday Diamond, Athletic Moment.




Monday Diamond took the lead after 1000m. Disco A.e. didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Monday Diamond followed by Regina Vox and Ghostly News. Lane two Disco A.e. followed by Kvarngärdets Goblin and Kvarngärdets Java. Ferocious Map started to gallop after 1500m and Claes Sjöström had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



With only a little left of the race Regina Vox galoped for 40 m. Disco A.e. suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Athletic Moment galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Disco A.e. kept the speed the whole finish and won before Monday Diamond and Ghostly News.
