The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kalmar this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sick Piano found a gap and took the lead. Joybringer followed before Vintersorg. Guard Of Ottawa suddenly started to galop. Claes Svensson had to struggle to get Guard Of Ottawa to tror again and succeded after 20 m. Kent Knutsson wanted a little to much in the start and Helpful Sniper galoped for 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Guard Of Ottawa, Boa Constrictor, Sergeant Sniper, Vintersorg, Joybringer, Helpful Sniper, Sick Piano, Criminal Stud.




Joybringer looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Criminal Stud couldn't come out from behind the leader, Guard Of Ottawa.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Guard Of Ottawa followed by Criminal Stud and Sick Piano. Lane two Joybringer followed by Vintersorg and Boa Constrictor.



Guard Of Ottawa looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Joybringer never caught up with Guard Of Ottawa who won. Vintersorg came third.
