One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Funky Guitar. Opposing Cup ended up behind the leader. Man Of His Word got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Splendid Isolation was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Man Of His Word clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Viale Di Poggio suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

Man Of His Word was still in the lead after 1500m. Silver Night showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Man Of His Word looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Opposing Cup galop. Opposing Cup lost 50 m. Viale Di Poggio galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.

Man Of His Word never caught up with Funky Guitar who won. Kvarngärdets Neptun came third.
