The sun was shining on Kausala and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wondering Daffodil was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Lemon Lady saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Wondering Daffodil took the lead after 1000m. Quartiemeister Larockma didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Wondering Daffodil was still in the lead after 1500m.



Wondering Daffodil were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Giggling Sapphire sprinted over the finishline before Wondering Daffodil and Quartiemeister Larockma.
