One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Playing Midnight found a gap and took the lead. Impatient Diamond followed before Seductive Nova.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Wolly Tropic sprinted to the front. Speedy General galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Waving Mistress took the lead after 1000m. Wolly Tropic didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Seductive Nova was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Wolly Tropic looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Wolly Tropic was still in the lead after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Wolly Tropic galoped for 50 m. With only a little left of the race Waving Mistress galoped for 40 m. Playing Midnight was first on the homestretch followed by Reverse and Impatient Diamond.

Playing Midnight kept the speed the whole finish and won before Reverse and Impatient Diamond.
