The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Preussen Larockma tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Adorable Stardust that came steaming ahead. driver couldn't keep Athletic Admiral to trotting so they were disqualified.




Preussen Larockma saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Thinking Devil took the lead after 1000m. Devil Wing didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Criminal Puma galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Thinking Devil today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Athletic Admiral gallopped for 40 m.



Thinking Devil kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Thinking Devil didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
