The sun was shining on Rättvik and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Thinking Comet took the lead after a very quick start. driver couldn't keep Glitterball to trotting so they were disqualified.




This is the positions after 500m. Querfurt Larockma, Desnica Izbira, Desolate Fiesta, Skipping Flower, Northman, Thinking Comet, Nessuno Questione, Glorious Thought.




Northman sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Desolate Fiesta looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Glitterball was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Desolate Fiesta were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Glorious Thought won the race after a spectacular finish.
