It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Big Express tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sowing Sugar that came steaming ahead.

Snapple Apple sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.
