The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åmål today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Grasping Girl found a gap and took the lead. Astato Vox followed before Blossoming Sun.




This is the positions after 500m. Loving Giggle, Glowing Electra, Kvarngärdets Freja, Grasping Girl, Happy Glam, Astato Vox, Frosty Red, Lonely Cocktail.




Grasping Girl sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Loving Giggle galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Lonely Cocktail saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Lonely Cocktail kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Blossoming Sun litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Per-Arne Abelin tried a little too much on the homestretch and Kvarngärdets Freja started to galopp and lost 40 m.




Happy Glam won. Blossoming Sun came in second. Astato Vox caught third place.
