It had been raining for several days at Joensuu but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Loving Crusher sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Domino was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Climbing Scope started to galop and lost 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Whispering Heat, Jumping Arraow, Glorious Fox, Jumping Lizard, Tretiak, Prima Carneval, Loving Crusher, The Panther. Skipping Raspberry started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Jumping Lizard took the lead after 1000m. Glorious Fox didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. driver couldn't keep Skipping Raspberry to trotting so they were disqualified.

Glorious Fox saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Tretiak litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Jumping Lizard won. Glorious Fox came in second. Loving Crusher caught third place.
