The sun was shining on Joensuu and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rational Striker was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Silver Action saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Grasping Pixie took the lead after 1000m. Running Frenzy didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.



With only a little left of the race Comfortable Paradigm galoped for 40 m. Grasping Pixie was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Rational Striker took the lead after 1000m. Silver Action didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.






Winner of todays race was Rational Striker. Running Frenzy came in second. Silver Action became third.
