The weather had been good all week and Riihimäki was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Vont. Skurken Cherry ended up behind the leader. Hector El Neco got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Antti Teivainen wanted a little to much in the start and Vont galoped for 20 m. Heavenly Ring was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

Outspoken Missile saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Hector El Neco took the lead after 1000m. Skurken Cherry didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Hector El Neco was still in the lead after 1500m. Vont galloped for 30 m. Hobby galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Hector El Neco looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Sly Work won. Skurken Cherry came in second. Powerful Rocket caught third place.
