The weather had been good all week and Bergen was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Whistler sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Dreaming Lizard was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

Whiskey saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Golden Madame suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Whiskey followed by Livermorio Vox and Big Bomb. Lane two Sliding Thrasher followed by Dreaming Lizard and Whistler.

Whiskey sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Big Bomb was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.

Final standings. 1 Dreaming Lizard, 2 Beautiful Godiva, 3 Whiskey.
