One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Flower Witch found a gap and took the lead. Sheela followed before Helpful Missile.




The Insider quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Helpful Missile took the lead after 1000m. Rival Andersen didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Rival Andersen looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Sheela speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Rival Andersen won. Helpful Missile came in second. Sheela caught third place.
