The weather had been good all week and Romme was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tiny Thrasher was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Wondering Twister sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Edgy Box took the lead rather easily.




Nikolsk accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Nikolsk kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Edgy Box won the race after a spectacular finish.
