One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sowing Sunray was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Adventurous Thrasher galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Going To California saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Strong Energy showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Calming Band took the lead after 1000m. Going To California didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Calming Band followed by Sowing Sunray and Kimmo. Lane two Going To California followed by Climbing Mustache and Adventurous Thrasher.




Calming Band didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Sowing Sunray gallopped 20 m after 2000m.



Adventurous Thrasher was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Calming Band looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Going To California never caught up with Calming Band who won. Climbing Mustache came third.
