Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Walking Cupcake found a gap and took the lead. Fenena followed before Radiating Lily. Carlos Söderström wanted a little to much in the start and Fenena galoped for 40 m. Björn Goop wanted a little to much in the start and Origin Of Species galoped for 40 m. Beautiful Rose suddenly started to galop. Jörgen Sjunnesson had to struggle to get Beautiful Rose to tror again and succeded after 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Flickering Pixie, Little Diamond, Expensive Tropic, Origin Of Species, Beautiful Rose, Walking Cupcake, Moonlight Wonder, Fenena.

Flickering Pixie clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Beautiful Rose accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Beautiful Rose sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Radiating Lily made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Scarlet Drama.
