One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Snowy Pirate was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Slow Panther, Athalie, Yolo Gracelyn, Universelle, Screaming Band, Tiny Ship, Strong Piece, Snowy Pirate.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Screaming Band galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Slow Panther followed by Yolo Gracelyn and Carlos Besk. Lane two Athalie followed by Universelle and Snowy Pirate. Tiny Ship started to gallop after 1500m and Stein Egil Nervik had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



With only a little left of the race Screaming Band galoped for 30 m. Slow Panther kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Yolo Gracelyn sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
