One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Pointing Needle. Dribbling Sergeant ended up behind the leader. Waving Mistress got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Front Satellite quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Dribbling Sergeant took the lead after 1000m. Pointing Needle didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dribbling Sergeant followed by Comfortable Hyena and Pucky Learl. Lane two Pointing Needle followed by Waving Mistress and General Puma. Tempting Thought started to gallop after 1500m and Gunnar Eggen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Pucky Learl galoped for 20 m. Dribbling Sergeant were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Eau Du Cologne galop. Eau Du Cologne lost 30 m.

Dribbling Sergeant didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
