The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Turku today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Kings Ransom took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Rudolf sprinted to the front.




Wandering Star looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Kings Ransom couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rudolf.




Rudolf was still in the lead after 1500m. Kings Ransom started to gallop after 1500m and Pekka Korpi had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Laban galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Wandering Star took the lead.



Wandering Star were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Sleepy Bouquet made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Wandering Star.
