Nothing seemed to be able to stop Vanuit today. It continued in the lead. Toulouse started to gallop after 1500m and Petter Lundberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Falling Energy gallopped for 10 m.

Ma Dalton suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
