It had been raining for several days at Bodø but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sudden Moment was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Quiberon, Royal Patriot, Sad Dreamcatcher, Perfect Nugget, Sudden Moment, Charming Soldier, , .




Quiberon clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Sad Dreamcatcher accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Perfect Nugget gallopped for 40 m.



Royal Patriot suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






No-one could catch Royal Patriot today who won before Quiberon and Sudden Moment.
