The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Solvalla today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The Right Thing was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Sliding Thrasher quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of The Right Thing who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Sliding Thrasher clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sliding Thrasher today. It continued in the lead.



The Right Thing was first on the homestretch followed by Sliding Thrasher and Big Dynamite.






Big Dynamite won. Sliding Thrasher came in second. The Right Thing caught third place.
