It had been raining for several days at Lycksele but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Welsh Dynamite could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Woodcutter saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Mayor Mistake was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Lonely Trap sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Welsh Dynamite looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Boniface speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Welsh Dynamite never caught up with Boniface who won. Bleu Et Jaune came third.
