One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Antico Guerriero tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Delightful Samba that came steaming ahead. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Antico Guerriero sprinted to the front. Baldin showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. The leader got disturbed by something and Delightful Samba took the lead rather easily. Antico Guerriero looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Delightful Samba suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Antico Guerriero sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
