One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Moving Lizard tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Slow Behemoth that came steaming ahead. driver couldn't keep Finding Family to trotting so they were disqualified. Blushing Pearl galloped way to long and was disqualified. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Amber Sunset was disturbed and galoped 20 m.
