Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Arvika track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Loud Thunder could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Platinum Valley showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Smiling Fabric took the lead after 1000m. Loud Thunder didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Loud Thunder saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Hot Steam seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.




There was a new leader after 2500m, Loud Thunder.



Hot Steam was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. With only a little left of the race Platinum Valley galoped for 50 m. Loud Thunder looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Loud Thunder kept the speed the whole finish and won before Hot Steam and Tender Dragon.
