One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fly By Night took the lead after a very quick start. Walking Gold was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Toronto Du Gohier sprinted to the front.




Clever Strategy took the lead after 1000m. Fly By Night didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Fly By Night looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Carlos Sledgehammer put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



With only a little left of the race Candidato Pegasos galoped for 20 m. Carlos Sledgehammer sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Clever Strategy won the race after a spectacular finish.
