The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Wondering Venus was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Growing Band was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

Fighting Gladiator saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Fighting Gladiator clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Fighting Gladiator followed by Thinking Devil and Sir Excellent. Lane two Playing Red followed by London War and Nessuno Questione. Thunder Agent started to gallop after 1500m and Claes Sjöström had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Thinking Devil took the lead.

Thinking Devil were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Nessuno Questione galop. Nessuno Questione lost 40 m.

Fighting Gladiator won the race after a spectacular finish.
