It had been raining for several days at Karlshamn but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





First Serve sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. First Serve was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Old Energy, Rolling Wave, Slow Behemoth, Pink Knockout, First Serve, Normand Larockma, Rolling Breeze, Black Missile. A bird flew just in front of Rolling Breeze who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Rolling Wave sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rolling Wave followed by Normand Larockma and Old Energy. Lane two Pink Knockout followed by First Serve and Slow Behemoth.




Rolling Wave didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Rolling Wave kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Pink Knockout, 2 Rolling Wave, 3 Normand Larockma.
