One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Clair De Lune took the lead after a very quick start.




Prospectus saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Prospectus was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Clair De Lune showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Prospectus followed by Whispering Daffodil and Frozen Play. Lane two Big Strategy followed by Just Lizard and Blue Sniper. Clair De Lune galloped for 40 m.




Prospectus was still in the lead after 2000m. Clair De Lune gallopped 40 m after 2000m.



Prospectus kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Prospectus today who won before Whispering Daffodil and Just Lizard.
