One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bright Heat tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Uses All Gears that came steaming ahead.




Moonlight Maid quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Uses All Gears looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Pointing Moon couldn't come out from behind the leader, Moonlight Maid.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Moonlight Maid followed by Pointing Moon and Passionate Princess. Lane two Uses All Gears followed by Bright Heat and I Am Erica.



Moonlight Maid sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






No-one could catch Moonlight Maid today who won before Bright Heat and Passionate Princess.
