The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Skellefteå this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Shooting Cruiser was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Fast Pirate sprinted to the front.




License To Quit took the lead after 1000m. Silly Star didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop License To Quit today. It continued in the lead.




Silly Star put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Silly Star looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Cassius galop. Cassius lost 50 m. Fast Pirate galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Shooting Cruiser won. Silly Star came in second. License To Quit caught third place.
