Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Hagmyren track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Powerful Energy found a gap and took the lead. Reason followed before Light Movement.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Reason sprinted to the front. Front Moon started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Reason followed by Light Movement and Advanced Blast. Lane two Powerful Energy followed by Snowy Speed and Front Moon.




Reason kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Reason looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Light Movement won. Powerful Energy came in second. Reason caught third place.
