It had been raining for several days at Vaggeryd but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Azalee Dodienville took the lead after a very quick start.




Vouloir Gagner saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Azalee Dodienville looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sliding Beard couldn't come out from behind the leader, Vouloir Gagner.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Vouloir Gagner followed by Sliding Beard and . Lane two Azalee Dodienville followed by Active Bomb and .




Azalee Dodienville suddenly took over the lead.



Vouloir Gagner galloped way to long and was disqualified. Azalee Dodienville looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Vouloir Gagner galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Sliding Beard won. Azalee Dodienville came in second. Active Bomb caught third place.
