The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Mikkeli today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cannonball took the lead after a very quick start.




Striking Beauty saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Jumping Mountain sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Jumping Mountain followed by Walking Diva and Handy Platinum. Lane two Astato Vox followed by Fair Brightness and Russian Gold. Cannonball galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Jumping Mountain looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Astato Vox galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. Mauri Jaara tried a little too much on the homestretch and Walking Diva started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Handy Platinum made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Fair Brightness.
