One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ballbreaker tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Access that came steaming ahead. Frosty Biscuit was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Inkas Athabascan started to galop and lost 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Rocking Crusher, Inkas Athabascan, Elegant Trap, Criminal Mambo, Frosty Biscuit, Ballbreaker, Clever Force, Access. Clever Force started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Sword In The Moon Hoof was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Rocking Crusher was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rocking Crusher followed by Frosty Biscuit and Clever Force. Lane two Criminal Mambo followed by Order By Boy and Sword In The Moon Hoof.

Rocking Crusher didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Criminal Mambo speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Frosty Biscuit galop. Frosty Biscuit lost 50 m. Rikard N Skoglund tried a little too much on the homestretch and Criminal Mambo started to galopp and lost 20 m. Elegant Trap galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Rocking Crusher sprinted over the finishline before Clever Force and Sword In The Moon Hoof.
