One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Growing Band. Netrebko Hof ended up behind the leader. Il Figlio got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Il Figlio sprinted to the front. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Pucky Learl looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Il Figlio litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch. Gunnar Austevoll tried a little too much on the homestretch and Netrebko Hof started to galopp and lost 20 m. driver couldn't keep Pucky Learl to trotting so they were disqualified. Growing Band never caught up with Il Figlio who won. Frühaufsteher came third. Results
