One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Solid Runner could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Solid Runner was in fine shape and held the lead. driver couldn't keep Brave Spring to trotting so they were disqualified.

Solid Runner looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Playing Love couldn't come out from behind the leader, Klinsmann On Fire.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Klinsmann On Fire followed by Bad Bad Pony and Solid Runner. Lane two Blue Cheese Hoof followed by Playing Love and Calling You Darling.

Klinsmann On Fire looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Bad Bad Pony didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
