One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Barefoot Gold took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Sad Printer, Barefoot Gold, Isis, Frozen Electra, Hoping Cruiser, Dusty Cup, Max Plan, Pointing Gossip.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sad Printer followed by Barefoot Gold and Hoping Cruiser. Lane two Frozen Electra followed by Isis and Dusty Cup.



Sad Printer were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Max Plan showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Barefoot Gold made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Frozen Electra.
