One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Les Roi could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Trudi Larockma saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Devine Winter started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Good Looking Sword who started to galop and lost 10 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Ready Set Go took the lead rather easily.

The Butcher looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Les Roi suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Trudi Larockma sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
