One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Steel Sniper could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Steel Sniper was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Brigand galloped way to long and was disqualified. Bonjour Lundi started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The Eagle sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Portable Momentum suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Purple Dream followed by The Eagle and Portable Momentum. Lane two Steel Sniper followed by Punching Blast and Bonjour Lundi.

Steel Sniper speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Purple Dream won the race after a spectacular finish.
