One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Inkas Shasta sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Silly Star suddenly started to galop. Roland Jansson had to struggle to get Silly Star to tror again and succeded after 20 m. Claes Sjöström wanted a little to much in the start and Golden Babe galoped for 40 m.




Golden Babe was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Inkas Shasta clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Inkas Shasta was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Inkas Shasta galoped for 40 m. Purple News was first on the homestretch followed by Silly Star and Inkas Shasta.

Inkas Shasta galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. Golden Babe galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Purple News didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
