The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Blossoming Glam sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Peter Untersteiner wanted a little to much in the start and Café Au Lait galoped for 10 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Blossoming Glam looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Pointing Moon couldn't come out from behind the leader, Bordsdamen.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Blossoming Glam followed by Playing Midnight and Bordsdamen. Lane two Little Drummer Boy followed by Falling Galaxy and Pointing Moon. Little Drummer Boy started to gallop after 1500m and Olle Goop had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Windy Diva galloped for 30 m.

Blossoming Glam kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Little Drummer Boy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Blossoming Glam kept the speed the whole finish and won before Little Drummer Boy and Playing Midnight.
