It had been raining for several days at Mantorp but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Soldier Tango could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Soldier Tango was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Wimpy Rhapsody took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Wimpy Rhapsody today. It continued in the lead.




Wimpy Rhapsody was still in the lead after 2000m.



Wimpy Rhapsody looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Soldier Tango won the race after a spectacular finish.
