The sun was shining on Lahti today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Close Beard. Waving Heroine ended up behind the leader. Shooting Mustache got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Ace High saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Outspoken Speed sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Sleeping Gal saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Close Beard started to gallop after 1500m and Mauri Jaara had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Shooting Mustache suddenly took over the lead.



Waving Heroine was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Shooting Mustache were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Waving Heroine made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Sleeping Gal.
