One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Criminal Power. Dove Smooth ended up behind the leader. Turbo Boy got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Geir Vegard Gundersen wanted a little to much in the start and Sophisticated Breath galoped for 30 m.

Dove Smooth saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Dove Smooth clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Dominant Work clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

driver couldn't keep Sophisticated Breath to trotting so they were disqualified.

Dominant Work kept the speed the whole finish and won before Criminal Power and Dove Smooth.
