It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tallio Vox was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Rêve Royal started to galop and lost 30 m.




Unternehmen Larockma saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Unternehmen Larockma was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Help galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Unternehmen Larockma today. It continued in the lead. Brave Star started to gallop after 1500m and Jörgen Sjunnesson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Rêve Royal gallopped for 20 m.




Unternehmen Larockma didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Tallio Vox was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m. Unternehmen Larockma gallopped 10 m after 2000m. Brave Star gallopped 40 m after 2000m.



Unternehmen Larockma sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused True Convention galop. True Convention lost 10 m.




Frühaufsteher won the race after a spectacular finish.
