It had been raining for several days at Vermo but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Wild Sunshine took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Miséricorde started to galop and lost 20 m.

Wild Sunshine was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Der Bomber who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Wild Sunshine clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Wild Sunshine followed by Floating Sapphire and Just Wolf. Lane two Desolate Death followed by Starshine Electra and Miséricorde.

Wild Sunshine were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Floating Sapphire sprinted over the finishline before Desolate Death and Wild Sunshine.
