One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gentleman Steel could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Family Portrait saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Bordsdamen started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Gorgeous Stardust who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Shooting Cube looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that White Trash Beautiful couldn't come out from behind the leader, Family Portrait. Ghostly Heroine galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Family Portrait followed by Gentleman Steel and White Trash Beautiful. Lane two Shooting Cube followed by Dans Ma Rue and Slow Satellite.

Dans Ma Rue was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Family Portrait were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Bordsdamen galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Gentleman Steel, 2 Family Portrait, 3 Shooting Cube.
